  • Shihan Tim Thompson is a Kyoshi 8th degree Black Belt Grand Master Instructor in the Okinawan / Japanese Martial Arts of Karate-Do, Kobudo, Goshinjitsu and Kenjitsu. His students and the Martial Arts community know him as “Sensei.” He has been in the Martial Arts for over thirty-six years and was promoted to his present rank of 8th Dan on 19 September 2008 by Grand Master Dale Stengele (O.M.A.A.).
  • Karate Master & Legend Tadashi Yamashita also promoted him to 6th Dan in Shorinryu Karate-Do on 24 February 1996. He has also studied under Soke Kuniba and Shihan Jim Herndon.
  • Shihan Tim Thompson is the Official OMAA Virginia State Director, RMAA National Director, and a Member of the World Stuntmans Association. He and his Ryoshin-Kan Karate School are members / affiliated with World Cup Martial Arts Organization (WCMAO), World Karate Union Hall of Fame (WKU), World Martial Arts Hall of Fame (WMAHOF), World Black Belt Martial Arts Hall of Fame (WBBMAHOF), Open Martial Arts Association (OMAA) and the British National Martial Arts Association (BNMAA) organizations. Dr. / Shihan Tim Thompson is a distinguish member of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Council of FIMA University. He has trained & performed in numerous countries including Japan, England, Scotland, Okinawa, Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Norway, Germany, Egypt, Bahrain, Africa, Bahamas, Cuba, Caribbean Islands and through out the U.S.A.
  • Shihan Tim Thompson is the Founder and Director of the Ryoshin-Kan Martial Arts Association (R.M.A.A.) , Ryoshin-Kan Karate School, Ryoshin-Kan Goshinjitsu System, the Dragon Force Demo Team & the Dragon Force National Karate Team located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which he established in 1980. He is the creator of the very dynamic and realistic Ryoshin-Kan Goshinjitsu System. His School has produced numerous National and World Champions. His demo team won twelve National Karate Championships. He has performed in over 1000 Karate Demos and in 1995 He directed & starred in the movie "The Adventures of Dragon Force." He is a National & World Champion in Karate, Kobudo and Goshinjitsu. He was a member of the Legendary USA Karate Team that finished second in the world out of fifty countries in 1991 at Kyoto, Japan. He has won First Place in Black Belt Self-Defense at Martial Arts Championships twenty one times. His Dragon Force National Team is the First demo team to win the “WORLD CUP” Demo Team Grand Championships three years in a row.
  • Master Karate Teacher Tim Thompson was born in 1954 in Warrenton, Virginia and he graduated from Fauquier high School in 1973. He attended college at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and graduated from this famous institution in 1977 with a BA in History. He Received his Doctorate in Sciences Ph.D / DMS (Martial Arts / Science) from the First International M.A. University in 2006. His Thesis on the Ryoshin-Kan System of Goshinjitsu and Combat Speed will soon be published as a Book. He is a Retired Decorated Navy Commander and he served in the U.S. Navy for 26 Years.   • He has been inducted in 1992, 2000, 2001, 2002 into the World Martial Arts, World Karate Union & World Black Belt MA Hall of Fames as Master / Founder, Instructor and Goshinjitsu National Team of the Year. Team of the Year.” He was Featured in the January 2001 Action Martial Arts magazine as well as on their Millennium Collector Card. Shihan Thompson and his Dragon Force National Demo Team were awarded the 2001 / 2002 “National Karate Demo Team of the Year” by the World Cup and World Black Belt Martial Arts Hall of Fame Organizations. His Dragon Force National Karate Team was awarded the “Best Karate Team of the Year” in 2003 by the O.M.A.A.

    Sempai Jerimy Brecheen is a 1st Dan - Black Belt in the Okinawan / Japanese Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do System. He was promoted to his present rank by Master Instructor Tim Thompson, Renshi 7th Degree Black Belt in Karate-Do, Kobudo, Goshin-jitsu and Kenjitsu in December 2006.
  • Jerimy Brecheen and his Bushinkan Karate Dojo of Pensacola Florida are affiliated with the Ryoshin-Kan Martial Arts Association, of which he is the POC for the state of Florida.
  • Jerimy Brecheen has studied martial arts since age 9 where he started training in Tang Soo Do / Moo Duk Kwan. At age 12 he was promoted to the rank of Black Belt by Jack Motley, 6th Degree Black Belt Instructor, where he also instructed Jack Motley's adult's program classes. He has also had training in but not limited to, Ryukyu Kempo, Jujitsu, Arnis and Kenjitsu. And he also has endless hours of research in the martial arts including, Karate-Do, Ryukyu Kempo, Kobudo, Chi Gung, Tai Chi Chuan, Shaolin Fist, Wing Chun, Eagle Claw and Phoenix Eye Style to name a few.
  • He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 24 1981. He graduated through the Pensacola Junior Collage's GED program. After which he enlisted into the United States Navy for four years, Honorably serving his country in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was during this enlistment into the Navy that he began training, studying and practicing Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do and Kobudo directly under Master Tim Thompson at Ryoshin-Kan of Virginia Beach, Virginia where is a member in good standing to date.
